AI analyzes the audio of videos uploaded to KRONOS DRIVE. Recognition results can be exported in a variety of caption formats, including WebVTT and Videotron Lambda, and edited intuitively in the KRONOS DRIVE console.

Features

Natural, easy-to-read captions

In typical video streaming, captions are displayed on the player in short segments of one or two lines. KRONOS DRIVE applies fine-grained control so that caption breaks and line breaks are inserted at the most natural positions, taking into account speaker changes as well as grammar rules specific to Japanese, such as word boundaries and particle attachment.
In addition to Japanese, English audio transcription is also supported. For English audio, caption segmentation and line breaks are inserted using logic optimized for English captions.

KRONOS DRIVE lets you choose the speech recognition engine you want to use from multiple options. Which engine achieves the highest accuracy generally depends on the characteristics of the audio and the language being recognized. An intuitive UI that turns anyone into a professional caption editor

No AI is perfect. No matter how good the speech recognition engine, its output will always contain mistakes. The KRONOS DRIVE editor is designed so you can correct AI recognition results quickly and intuitively. You can add and edit captions, assign ruby annotations, and split or merge pages. Keyboard shortcuts make the editing workflow even smoother.

Custom Vocabularies

Recognize proper nouns with your own dictionary

You can register words with their spelling, reading, and category (person name, place name, etc.) as a custom vocabulary. Registered words allow accurate transcription even when the audio contains terms the AI has not been trained on, such as proper nouns unique to a particular title.
Vocabularies can be bulk-registered from a CSV file.

Automatic Ruby Assignment

Ruby annotations powered by the audio itself

In the editor, simply select the text you want to annotate and click the "Ruby" button to add ruby annotations. Because ruby readings are derived from the actual pronunciation in the audio, they are more accurate than dictionary-based approaches.
