Per-title encoding

Each video file is analyzed for visual complexity to compute the optimal encoding settings. By optimizing the bitrate and resolution of each ABR ladder rung — critical for streaming — quality loss is minimized and switching between ABR rungs becomes virtually unnoticeable.

3-pass encoding

In addition to 1-pass and 2-pass, STREAKS supports 3-pass encoding. It has proven its effectiveness, cutting bitrates by 30% with no visible loss in quality. The enhanced analysis removes outlier low-quality frames while improving the overall VMAF quality score — without increasing the bitrate.

HDR
