SSAI Pre-Fetch

In simulcasts and live event streaming, SSAI ad insertion generates a massive burst of requests to the ad server, and delays or timeouts in ad calls could mean ads fail to be inserted — a long-standing operational challenge. To solve this, we developed a feature that sends registered ad requests to the ad server ahead of time (pre-fetch). With pre-fetching, video ads can be inserted instantly even when the ad server responds slowly. It eliminates the problem of ads failing to display under heavy traffic and improves the quality of your streaming service.
